Consider this Jazz-Age inspired wedding at Atlanta’s famous Swan House the party of the century with a “Gatsby meets Havana Nights” directive inspired by the couple’s own meet-cute in Las Vegas. Bonne chance! In every sense of the phrase. So it’s only fitting that specialty casino entertainment with 1920’s flair honoring the opulent architecture of the venue played a major role in the celebration. Browne & Towers Event Planning and Design wove these details into the wedding design seamlessly, as floral designer Bowman & Clark accented the party tables with textured, unexpected and tropical blooms – sun palms and orchids notwithstanding! The unforgettable celebration that ensued was captured with grace + charm by Shauna Veasey Photography, and we cannot wait for you to dive into the gallery below!

From the Planner & Designer, Browne & Towers Event Planning and Design: Ashley and Chris met serendipitously in Las Vegas while they were both vacationing with friends. It felt fitting to bring the casino fun to their wedding day, but the couple wanted to have the concept tastefully woven into their guest experience!

We decided to steer toward a Night in Havana / Speakeasy vibe by incorporating a jazz band, a champagne tower, and blackjack and roulette tables. The 1920’s also happened to be the era that their venue, The Swan House, was built and this inspiration felt like a sweet nod to the estate’s history.

A meaningful detail that you’ll notice throughout the wedding day are feathers – an ode to the bride’s deceased grandfather that she was very close to. The bride selected her gorgeous two-piece Gali Karten gown so that she could swap out her full skirt for a mini-skirt adorned with feathers that twirled while she danced into the night.
